Introduction: The property is on Waiheke Island Auckland. 10km from Oneroa. It is 10 acres of regenerating bush, extending right to the waters edge. It only has boat access, so it is quiet and idyllic, if a little isolated! It has it's own power and water supply and a flush toilet! When the weather is nice, you can go swimming, fishing, rowing or kayaking
around the bay. Also I now have an 8 metre yacht that can be used to cruise our wondei Hauraki Gulf.; Save Exit without saving
General Information: I practice a relaxed, vegan lifestyle, consuming some fish and shellfish which I collect myself. I tend my vegetable gardens and orchard. I do a lot of composting and collect seaweed. I also collect and coppice firewood. Most of my cooking is done on my wood stove. I am trying to lead a sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle. I would welcome wwoofers with a positive attitude and a bit of life experience, to help me in my day-to-day tasks. Occasional big projects may crop up that require specific skills but mostly jobs are weeding, composting, collecting firewood and general maintenance. I have 2° cell phone reception and offer a wi-fi hot spot for those requiring it. I would prefer non smokers.
