For a potential job or a wwoofer that stays on ... look at the second paragraph... We are a (sometimes daughter - Melissa now working full time elsewhere)/ father team near Te Mata, just South of Raglan, with rolling hills, streams and native bush. We are developing the farm with a Regenarative approach using a mix of Biological/Permaculture practice and are looking for ecologically but scientifically minded people. Work includes planting, fencing, weeding etc. We need people handy around a construction site, decks, painting, carpentry..We're vegan/vegetarian. We speak English, French, Hebrew, and Spanish, a smattering of German and Dutch, we are inclusive and welcome differential abilities, LGBTQIA/Rainbow/Queer and neurodiverse friendly. Accommodation is usually in Raglan, as we live there or if you want, you can live on the farm in your campervan/tent.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that would like to develop a farm business and also potentially help run the existing farm. The farm is located near Raglan, and has about 1/4 of its land currently used productively. We have a thriving business with over 400 Avocado trees, Vineyards for table grapes and greenhouse and field production. We are offering a mix of some basic salary and a small house that would serve as the basis for developing a new business and integrating it into the existing farm. We are looking for someone that ideally, has an agricultural education, either having grown up on a farm or has studied towards this. This would ideally be a long term proposition, to develop your ideas without having to invest in farm machinery or land. The details of how this partnership would work are to be discussed between the parties based on what each brings to the table. Ideas welcome

- General Information You can add extended general information about your property
- Right now we are focusing on expanding our market crops, and implementing IPM. We grow avocados, grapes and various veges depending on the season.
Some of our long-term projects include increasing the biodiversity on the farm by riparian planting (stream edges), fencing off big native bush blocks, exploring ways to make the farm both an ecological paradise with the ability to make a living as well.
In time off WWOOFers can check out the waves at Wainui (Ngaranui) beach or Manu bay in Raglan. Happy to lend a surf board. - Save Exit without saving
