We don't usually host in winter but my family is away for three weeks from mid June so we will have a cozy loft inside available for that time.

We are an international, homeschooling, surfing, barefoot and wild family that lives on an eleven hectare block just five minutes from central Gisborne.
We are currently releasing (weeding) around young native trees, pruning, working on the house build, milking goats, milling timber, splitting firewood, growing children and doing all sorts of jobs around the farm.; Save Exit without saving

Number of people that can be accommodated	How many people can you accommodate at one time? /250 We can accomodate a variety of numbers depending on how much work we have on. The caravan fits a family of four nicely. We have had big groups stay in there own vehicles and tents. Save Exit without saving
Preferred minimum stay	Some hosts like to have a minimum stay so the volunteer has time to settle in a learn the routines and rhythms of your property /250 Two weeks is ideal for us but we can do one week if that's all you can manage. Save Exit without saving
Preferred length of stay	Some hosts find it helpful to specify how long the stay should generally be. Of course you can extend this once you and your guest find that things are working out well. /250 We feel that a minimum stay of a week will help you appreciate fully what our lifestyle is about, and get to experience a variety of aspects related to self reliance. Organic Principles	Describe the organic and sustainable aspects of your property. /250 We draw our inspiration from all kinds of modern and traditional sustainability techniques including permaculture and biodynamics. We eat about 90% organic and in summer, about half of our diet comes from the farm through garden, dairy and our sheep. Save Exit without saving

Diet	Describe the types of diets that you have in your home. /250 We eat meat and dairy off our land or from hunting, vegetables and fruit from the garden or locally sourced. Mostly organic. Hours	How many hours a day do volunteers usually do? /250 We work between breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday, depending on what kind of work we're doing. We do a few odd jobs in the weekend but generally take it easy and have a rest or go to the beach! Help with the dishes is much appreciated. Save Exit without saving
Special instructions	Add any special instructions that volunteers need to know. /250 We provide anything you want for breakfast and a cooked lunch and dinner.
