The Corner Stone is a 13 acre property which includes a small shop and a large cafe. We have extensive gardens including an orchard and a walking track. leading down to ponds and what will be a seating area .for our customers. We are situated on the corner of the road leading to the Coromandel, a tourist destination with amazing beaches and natural bush. The other road leads South to Matamata and Hobbiton, Tauranga and Rotorua. This is where you would stay. There is a self contained unit with a double bed, so it would help if you were a couple, also free wifi.

Thames is 25 minutes away, Ngatea is 13 minutes away and Kaiaua is about 20 minutes from the cafe.

On our home farm which is a beef farm we have 350 acres in grass and  we have 300 acres of pristine native bush with walking tracks that lead to groves of large Kauri. You would be welcome to explore this, if you want.

Accommodation is in a small apartment at the cafe site. It is modern, clean and has its own shower/ toilet room, kitchen sink with microwave and there is a double bed.

We try to run the cafe as much as possible with organic principles. We recycle as much as possible, have a worm farm and compost bins which service our vegetable garden which in turn provides the cafe with vegies. We also have chickens whose eggs we sell.
